The Rwanda International Conference on Technology in Education (RICTE) was a conference of international repute. It aimed at providing a large number of academics from all fields, leaders and developers, from both the region and overseas, a forum for discussion and exchange of information on research and development around policy implementation, access and accessibility, curriculum and content, professional development of educators, and monitoring & evaluation in the field of educational technology.

The Conference gave an opportunity to the stakeholders in Education and Instructional Technology to:

• Share experiences and expertise in the field of education and Instructional Technology
• Discuss common problems in education and ICT integration in education
• Demonstrate innovation solutions in Education and Instructional Technology
• Explore ways to improve learning with technology

Mr. Rajeev Gupta, CEO of mElimu participated in the conference to understand the tangible outcomes for current technology in education policies and programs in Rwanda and the East African region. He also made his contributions in making the audience aware of the services which mElimu can offer to leverage technology in the field of education.
