Tanzania hosts the Global Smart Partnership Dialogue, 2013 at Dar es Salaam. Dr. Mohamed Gharib Bilal, the Vice President graced the opening of the event. The meeting aims to emphasize the need to infuse science and technology in every aspect of the social and economic activities. Smart Partnership Dialogue is organized by the Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management (CPTM) and Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT). This platform is used by decision makers from public and private sectors to come up with solutions for the social and economic problems of their nations.
mElimu along with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Tanzania presented at the Smart Partnership Dialogue, about their platform and services. The participants of the meeting found mElimu platform helpful in the educational sector.
Tushar Vohra, COO of mElimu, spoke with the participants of the meeting about the uses of the platform and how it can improve the quality of education delivery. He said, “Smart Partnership Dialogue is a great platform to meet people and know about how they have used science and technology for the development of their nation.
