Kenyatta University, after the successful implementation of its first Digital School through mElimu, signed a contract for a second lot of mElimu tablets and platform for its students. The Anywhere School, as they call it in Kenyatta University, provides online education through mElimu platform for an additional set of courses for Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Masters programmes.
mElimu tablets and platform envisions to enhance the learning of students through online distance learning programmes. The platform lets students submit assignments, take quizzes, assess their progress and, read and study course material anywhere, at their convenience.
Rajeev Gupta, CEO of mElimu took pride in facilitating the mElimu platform for the second time to the Kenyatta University Digital School students. He said, “With the use of technology, we want to make education accessible and affordable to all who cannot take up a full-time programme.”
