mElimu demonstrated its tablet solution to Leah Rotich, the Director of Basic Education, Ministry of Education, Kenya. She saw a lot of potential in such solutions in the education sector in Kenya. She showed interest in the different functions of the devices and the platform, which can help improve the quality and delivery of education. She asked several questions about the tablet and the platform to the mElimu official, Puneet Mathur, co-founder of mElimu.

mElimu, with a vision to provide a solution to the education sector of Kenya, developed a platform to improve the delivery of education. The platform and services make use of technology, also keeping in mind the lack of resources like electricity, internet etc.

Puneet told Mrs. Rotich how the platform could be equally beneficial to students, teachers and educational institutions. Mrs. Rotich said, “The platform seems to be of great help to the students and teachers; tit definitely helps them have more concentration and grasping power.” She also said, “Overall the platforms can help in the better delivery of knowledge in educational institutions.”

The company looks forward to partner with educational institutions in Kenya and Africa and provide them with this innovative platform.
